Studio d'Arte Martini is a Brescia-based auction house specialising in modern and contemporary art, with a particular focus on the post-World War II period.
For over thirty years, we have been selecting high-quality works, transforming each auction into a unique opportunity to enrich and expand our clients’ collections.
Our deep-rooted experience, combined with ongoing research and close collaboration with leading professionals in the sector, enables us to provide a bespoke service tailored to the needs of every collector.
Professionalism, transparency, and integrity are the core values that define our work and have established us as a trusted point of reference on both the Italian and international art scene, a reliable partner for those looking to buy or sell artworks.
Paolo Martini’s passion for art began at the age of fifteen, when he started working in a frame workshop in Brescia. What started as a simple interest soon evolved into a strong entrepreneurial drive and the ambition to build something of his own.
It wasn’t long before Paolo began selling his first paintings independently, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey in the art world.
In the early 1980s, Studio d'Arte Martini was founded, initially as an exhibition space. This was a natural evolution from the frame workshop, shaped by Paolo Martini’s vision and determination.
During the 1990s, he began collaborating with several Italian auction houses, managing an ever-growing number of artworks. The experience gained in this context inspired the transformation of his gallery into an auction house, capable of responding to the changing demands of an increasingly dynamic art market.
On 12 June 2006, this vision took concrete form with the first auction.
Studio d'Arte Martini is now a well-established auction house, recognised both nationally and internationally.
At the helm, together with Paolo Martini, are his three sons, Giovanni, Angelo, and Michele, who have inherited not only his passion for art, but also the core values that have always distinguished the family business: professionalism, transparency, and trust.
Their collective commitment has led to the steady growth of the team and the strengthening of a wide network of collaborations across Italy and abroad.
With a forward-looking approach, the Martini family continues to promote a dynamic and evolving vision of art, always in dialogue with the needs of today’s collectors.
Studio d'Arte Martini presents itself as a trusted meeting point between outstanding works and those who wish to build, enhance, or refine their collection, in the name of trust, expertise, and innovation.
